I haven't had it very long so I don't have many games for it yet - but I just picked up Kid Icarus Uprising and I'm enjoying catching up on all the stuff I missed from the DS library as well.

I don't use the 3D function much though; it gives me a headache, probably because I'm old (30). I pretty much play everything in 2D. Anyone else do that?

Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to Epic Mickey, Kingdom Hearts, etc.
I usually play on the bus or train... So no 3D. That'd make me nauseous. Even without the 3D I can get nauseous on the bus sometimes. So much speeding up and slowing down and bumps and such.

If I am just sitting in a park or in my room or something, then I sometimes use the 3D.
My B/S/T thread! :)

I play a LOT of games in 2D. The 3D effect often looks good... but unless I'm going to "settle in" somewhere and be really stationary, I find it's too easy for my view to shift and the effect to get lost. Oddly, I find it much easier to watch cutscenes in 3D than actually hold the system still while playing a game.

So for me, 3D graphics are a nice novelty that only get used on rare occasions.

Joel McHale would like you to purchase a 3DS:

I use the 3D function so infrequently that I sometimes forget that it's there....

But for me it's shaping up to be a great system even without the 3D. It's certainly got more power under the hood than the DS. And there are some tempting titles on the horizon this year - plus all the great games from the DS library.

I heard it's fun, but really, really short. As in, 5 hours.

I played a good hour of it last night and found it to be quite entertaining. I could tell the game would be on the shorter end with how quickly I was going through the AR book, but it's still neat playing Fatal Frame with the actual Camera Obscura in your hands.

I'm hoping for the price to drop to at least $20 before getting it, it's definitely on my want list, especially since AR works 100% of the time for me once I turn my natural sunlight lamp on.

There is a PDF version of the Spirit Camera AR book available on Nintendo's website for those with a tablet, laptop, etc.

You can basically play the game in the dark by using this method.
