How have you gone five years without awesome games like Mario Galaxy? It's worth the price of the system for those two games alone.

Did you buy direct from Nintendo? I would have also if that option was presented in Canada. Looking back, though, it was much more wise to just order in-store.

I ordered from Gamestop myself. Think they shipped it out on the 5th.

Oh and apparently I did get it! Should've checked the mail much earlier, haha...

20 minutes in, I can completely smell the awesomeness here. This game is going to be amazing. I still almost can't believe I'm holding it, an official NA release, in my hands finally.

I don't even know what Xenoblade thread I'm suppose to post in anymore, so this is going here :P

I have a strong urge to print out a box for the game (reversed cover) and the art book. Seems like it should have one.

That good? I should buy this despite giving up on Xenogears 9 hours into it? How much could/will I miss if I can't pick up Xenogears again? I couldn't get enough gameplay in on Xenogears - just long-winded tl;dr stuff. Is it really good?

Like the Xenosaga games, Xenoblade is not directly related to Xenogears.

So...

Collectibles - Should I just add these to the Collectopedia?
Loot/Materials - Mainly used for selling?

I'm only three hours in, but I recommend adding everything you can to collectopaedia. You get gem rewards when you complete a category. I have easily found multiples of the same item for those occasions when I needed one for a quest. I also use them to trade to NPCs.
