No way I love Goldeneye or Perfect Dark after a few rounds of alcohol. I actually dominated once while drunk.

I don't know, playing Mario Party drunk might be a quick way to start fights.

Its a series that inspires rage in sober people.

LOL! I just played a couple of round of Galaga! I really enjoy F-Zero GX for gamecube while drunk. It's built to compensate for Tunnelvision - in fact it actually plays better if you ignore your periferal on a 16x9 display close-up. Ghost in the Shell for PS1 also has a wide-sreen setting that lets you see more of the area like a fisheye lens. Try putting in the all level cheat on the menu:R2, R1, Square, Square, Up, Down, Square, Square, R2, R2 - and then try Mission 7 - Villains lurking in the city - It's awesome because you cling to everything and the enemies can't you can completely dominate it without doing the usual circle-around-them crap. Multiplayer Super Mario Bros. Wii is also very fun. It's got some very good levels early on, tho shortly in the levels can make inexperienced players give up. Still, it isn't prohibitively hard so friends can just pick up a controller and play with you - they already know how to play so it's great! The best single player drinking game with friends i've found by far is Audiosurf. It effectively equalizes a good mood no matter what it is since the BPM sets the vehicle speed. Competitive playing forces everyone be on the same wavelength - anyone who has a cellphone/iopd/MP3 Player can influence the gameeplay to their groove and everyone will happily play along. It really makes for an awesome group game.

Oh, since it's completely on topic I'd like to mention that I'm a drunk. Is this new news to regulars? Most of the posts I make here are 2+ beers in. Completely sober I rarely talk, and seldom post online even. I benefit from Aspergers and I'm OCD, so in a sort-of self medicating way I always enjoy my situation to it's fullest - therefore I drink regularly (moderation is the key). It's almost always social and my friends and family support it - Otherwise I'm hiding and quiet in my self absorbed projects - If I'm silent for a couple months here and there I'm working on something cool, or I've been contracted to do something big. When I'm especially talkative I've finished something cool or gotten a lot of money from doing something big.

Cheers!

Since it's a long weekend and more fun can be had at this; I'd like to hear some more multilayer drinking games!

Anyone try 4 Player Jump'n'bump with friends recently?

Great advise. Sounds like I'm gonna have to pick up Ghost in the Shell some day.

Well - we ended up playing going back to the old stand by. Some of the guys here I didn't think could handle bomberman so instead we went with: 5 player Death Tank Zwei.

There's very little better then that. :P

My buds and I had a blast playing Worms, Oddworld: Abe's Exodus, Mortal Kombat series, and the Twisted Metal series back in the day while becoming intoxicated!
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Fighting games and beat em ups for sure. Nothing like getting hammered and playing Street Fighter or Battletoads with a bro. The usuals for me are any Street Fighter (usually 2 or 4), BlazBlue (man is comboing in this game hard when you're drunk), Battletoads & Double Dragon, Golden Axe 3, Cyberbots, Streets of Rage 3, Marvel vs Capcom 2 or 3, stuff like that.

I try to avoid shmups while drunk though. I play so much worse. Still kind of fun anyway though, but can get frustrating if it's a hard one and I know I can do better, but can't because my coordination is out the window.
