Good point. Time will tell. I think I was just put off by Colin Farrell being in the lead role. When the news came out about a ROBOCOP remake, my knee-jerk reaction was "Oh god, why? Who is directing" When the answer was Aronofsky, I said "Oh, that could be very interesting". I think he would have taken it to a dark place, which works for ROBOCOP, but that's just my speculation.
