I'm actually a really happy TV viewer right now.
So Game of Thrones comes back this Sunday, I'm excited about that. It's effectively going to be my The Walking Dead replacement as it will fall right into the same time slot. Once Upon a Time continues to be my favorite new series, coming on right before Game of Thrones. This Sunday's upcoming episode looks like a very illuminating episode dealing with one of the show's biggest mysteries.
Also, apparently the Green Lantern: The Animated Series already started up and I didn't even know about it. It's paired up with Young Justice, which has been great lately. Those two shows are making me care about animated TV again, filling in the void left by Justice League Unlimited. I may try and keep up with that new Thundercats show too since all three of those are put together on Sunday nights, though Thundercats has been kind of underwhelming for me. It doesn't seem any more ambitious than the original TC show and I'm not that little kid who watched that old show anymore.
Supernatural has been pretty awesome for the last two episodes, a nice upswing for a season that has otherwise been pretty crappy. I have a renewed interest in the show as it seems to have found its mojo again. Fringe and Nikita are still holding up the consistent level of quality they always bring to the table. So, there's plenty of good stuff for me on Friday Nights. I gave up on Grimm. I feel like that show is going nowhere and Once Upon a Time does much more interesting things with the fairy tale idea. It's not as amazing as Fables, but as a TV take on a similar idea it is quite good in its own right. Fables really works better as a comic anyway, while Once Upon a Time uses the TV format very well.
Lot of good stuff on right now, I want to try to get caught up on Alcatraz as I only watched up to episode 4. I hope that show doesn't get cancelled. I'd like to get all excited about Mad Men coming back to TV, like some people seem to be, but it'd be too much of a hassle to try and get caught up on four whole seasons before I could become a regular viewer. That's the same reason I don't watch Breaking Bad. I don't think Mad Men or Breaking Bad would interest me anyway. They are not the kind of genre shows I typically gravitate to.
So what have you guys been watching lately?

Safe to say Chase will not be returning to Community.

That 70's Show. Haven't been making an effort to see it on purpose, but it just happens to be on whenever I decide to watch TV. They sandwich South Park between rounds of 70's Show.
Also, Roseanne sucks.

Finished The Wire about a week ago and now I'm working through the Sopranos.
Yes, I missed a lot of good TV shows but I'm making up for it now.
Once I finish the Sopranos, I will watch Oz or Mad Men.
I love watching the opening credits where it shows Tony driving from NYC through the Lincoln Tunnel, the NJ Turnpike, and various sights of NJ. Since I grew up in NJ, it brings back fond memories.

The CW. And it was only last night they did that. Usually, they play That 70's Show, then South Park, then Cops. I forgot to make it past tense.Luke wrote:What network are you talking about?BoringSupreez wrote:They sandwich South Park between rounds of 70's Show.

Watched The Killing. It wasn't as rain heavy as it usually is, though it did rain. I wish they'd stop that. My cousin assures me that it doesn't rain that much there. Other than that, decent episode. It was kinda slow, but then, the show's always been a bit slow.

I just finished the newer series of Battlestar Galactica, and am a little upset at myself that it took me so long (show started airing 8 years ago!).
Just got into Friday Night Lights on a recommendation, and although it's not something I feel like I'd typically go for, I'm enjoying it

So anybody know if they every show re-runs of Young Justice? Or maybe a place I can download episodes? I miss today's episode. I'm remembering now one of the things I always used to hate about Cartoon Network, their complete and total inability to stick to a damn schedule. Young Justice used to be on Friday nights. Like week it was on a Saturday night. I thought it would be the same this week, but turns out it was actually on this Saturday morning. ARRRRGHHHH!!!!
So annoying, I hate this network.
