Well....stick to what this sites all about. Quality old school Sega or Nintedo is always good. Even PS1 is ok. But stick to more games with a retro feel and you'll get more readers. Try reviewing something like Shining Force(or shining the holy ark) or some lesser know titles like Astal for the Saturn. More shmups are always welcome. Platformers and old school action/adventure titles are nice as well.
Also, and I know this is true for alot of people, I usually don't comment on reviews either...I'll read them and move on unless there is something to debate. If you are doing them for a response you may be disapointed.

Spend more time on your reviews: Write a draft, proofread, write another draft with any additions you might think to add, proofread, and then write a final copy. A review has to be a well thought out description of the pros and cons of each particular game with support for your opinions, not just a list of numbers and superlatives along with a flat paragraph. If it's anything else, it's useless, and there are thousands of other folks out there who'll do better reviews than you. You have to give people a reason to give your opinion credibility.
