Anyone more of a sega fan than nintendo fan?
Anyone more of a sega fan than nintendo fan?
I just wanted to know if anyone is or was more of a sega fan than a nintendo fan or visa versa? Lately I have been involved and more into the genesis than the nes and snes. I just feel like the games I would love to own for the snes and nes is also on the genesis and it's so much cheaper and I love the genesis 6 button more than the snes controller. For me I don't care anymore if let's say mortal kombat 2 looks better on the snes for me it's the same game. I'm just wondering if it's only me or if anyone is the same way. Thanks

No one else is the same way. Sorry, you're the only one who has this particular preference.

I typically prefer the Genesis to the SNES, but otherwise I'm mostly indifferent as to which is better. I guess I own a Dreamcast but not a GameCube?

is this a real question? or are you just trolling?

Tons here are more sega fans than Nintendo, myself not included. But you can go to sega 16 to find tons of them.

Oh I know that I go there from time to time. I don't hate on nintendo at all I love the nes and snes but lately I have been more attached to the genesis than my nintendo stuff and even my tg-16. I think mainly it's the price on games. Look at battletoads/doubledragon. It's average 30.00 on nes, 20.00 or so on snes and genesis 8-10.00. That's why I like it soo much. Not to heavy on my wallet the games for me are easier to find great gems on the genesis than the snes or nes.o.pwuaioc wrote:Tons here are more sega fans than Nintendo, myself not included. Overall, I vastly prefer Nintendo consoles. The SNES was/is my favorite system of all time and the Nintendo handhelds have always been top notch.
However, if you break things down by generation I do have to admit that I enjoy the Saturn more than the N64 and I prefer Dreamcast to GameCube.
Bottom line, both companies produced some quality goods (and continue to do so).

I feel pretty much the same. But I still liked my PS1 over both Saturn and N64. And I wanted to add that I feel the same about preferring the SNES to the Genesis (and even my NES to my Genesis), but at the same time Genesis is still one of the greatest systems ever made.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Overall, I vastly prefer Nintendo consoles. I have to say, I found that Sega has an unrivaled track record when it comes to interesting games. Nintendo games are always good, but they can feel kind of redundant or uninteresting sometimes, specially since their franchises are much more limited and often the best examples of the genre are outside of it.
