I've heard so many good reviews about that game. Gotta download a PSP ISO and see if it's worth a buyksloth wrote:I think I am going to play Legend of Heroes:Trails in the Sky on PSP. I started that right before I got sidetracked onto Y's, and it's pretty cool.
What RPG are you playing right now?

I am really enjoying it. I'm about 6 hours in. It's got a likable cast of characters, some pretty cool crafting/recipe making, and speedy movement/combat. The graphics are good, though the enemies can be a little hard to discern sometimes, almost like the sprites should have been made a little brighter or used a slightly different color palette.ZenErik wrote:I've heard so many good reviews about that game. Be sure to tune in to pocast 32, this game is discussed a good bit by xseed employee and a falcom fan site founder in an interviewZenErik wrote:I've heard so many good reviews about that game. Ys VI is done.
I've moved on to Brave Soul, a hentai Diablo clone for the PC.

Panzer dragoon saga and legend of legaia sega saturn and psx both fantastic games and legend of legaia underated!
Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
Legend of Legaia has the best turn-based battle system ever.
I'm still chipping away at Blade of Darkness, but the game really suffers from not having any sort of map. I got stuck running in circles for about 20 minutes looking for a fucking key. I'm pretty sure the developer re-used assets in the level I'm on, and considering that it's a mine this led to some pretty predictable problems. I kind of wish I'd been recording; I'd be working on putting together a YouTube video entitled "Fuck Rebel Act Studios" set to my 30-minute magnum opus. (also titled "Fuck Rebel Act Studios") I'm gonna have to start playing with some graph paper by my side.
I've also been (re-)playing Final Fantasy VII, which I just talked about somewhere else.

I've been playing Dragon Warrior Monsters (or Dragon Quest Monsters if you prefer) for Game Boy Color.
This game is ADDICTING! I love the monster-breeding system, I just wish it would let me keep more monsters at a time.

Playing Half Minute Hero. Not sure if it's really an RPG, but it sure is fun!
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Ah, god, it's been so long since I was posting regularly on this site. :/
Currently replaying Fallout: New Vegas. I got the Ultimate Edition for 360 that comes with all the dlc, so I started up a new game pretty much just for that. Using a character that mains explosive weapons which is an interesting change from the usual. I've already beat the first three dlc (Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues) and am pretty close to the end of the main quest line (Going with Yes Man this time). Want to complete that and Lonesome Road then hit level 50 and I'll be done with this character.
Funny enough, this is coming right off the back of replaying Fallout 3 cause I got the GotY Edition for that just a couple weeks before picking up NV. So I've kind of been overloaded on Fallout recently and can't wait to get back to playing other games in my backlog. Though that's not to say it isn't fun, Fallout is my newest favourite game series and all the extra content does keep the experience fresh.

I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.
