As I told you in the PM, Limewater. You posted 4 times, with 0 posts in between posts, less than 2 minutes apart - for no apparent purpose other than to drive up post counts.

It was only a matter of time before it turned dirty - "boobs" was the start and I see no benefit to let it continue.

If your point was to mock the "Top 100" threads, it was ill-executed. If your point was to literally name "things" - I don't think anyone should have to go into detail about how silly that is.

In either case the thread was not going to benefit the community and had already started a course toward annoyance for some members and vulgarity for others.

Off-topic does not need to be game related - but should provide some insight, perspective, or other sort of benefit to the community at large.

Hey, man, thanks for taking our private discussion public onto the forum.

But yeah, you got me. I'm totally trying to drive up my post count. 2780 since December 2008 isn't enough to post on B/S/T.

With respect - you took it public by posting in this thread. I was happy to leave my explanation in the PM I had sent you - which was sent and read prior to your post in this thread. Which a page a go - was a welcome and maybe "get to know you" thread.

In all seriousness - if you wish to "name things", that is a great game in the car with your children.

I hope you can revisit the thread and appreciate the reasoning. If not, that's fine too - but please do keep it out of this thread with respect to the other folks involved in this thread.

With all due respect, that's complete bullshit.

JT went out of his way to comment about how great it was that you locked my awful thread, and I responded to him. That was completely separate from the private message I sent you, where I calmly and respectfully discussed things.

That was all about JT's evaluation of the situation. It had nothing to do with you.

Clearly you weren't.

I would never have commented in this thread if my own posts weren't being discussed.

I would MUCH RATHER continue this discussion in PMs or something. I didn't ask for this.

And this is why it sucks to be a mod.

Limewater, I still think you're a valuable member of the racketboy community. No hard feelings. I just thought the "name a noun" thread was particularly pointless, which I imagine it was intended to be, but that's also why it got locked. I didn't mean for you to take this personal, I was just highlighting that one of the new mods is already busy doing their job.

As much I dislike the name the top 100 games threads, they're video game related and appropriate for the board. Name a noun is just a waste of server space/bandwidth.

I go through the new posts and just look at the threads that interest me. Probably go though 10-25% of them. The rest I just ignore (top 100, B/S/T, etc).

You're missing out, some pretty sexy shit happens in the B/S/T threads
