But guys, where's Hobie-wan?
I heard through the grapevine that he is dealing with some things and needed a bit of a break from the forum/online world.

Ah. Yeah, I noticed today that I haven't seen him on AIM or MSN for a few days, then I realized I haven't run into on the forums here in a few days either. Hopes he's alright.

Eagerly awaiting Hobie's return. Hope everything, whatever it may be, works out well.

On another note, pizza, Futurama, and video games. What better way to spend a Saturday night after a long week?

Tell me about it!

It should be fucking illegal though. My printer is basically holding my scanner hostage until I pay the ransom, which is massively overpriced ink! I mean, if some companies wanna do this with some of their models, that's cool. But there's not a damn inkjet printer in the world that doesn't use this scam. Even when you buy a higher end inkjet printer, you're still stuck with a proprietary ink cart, which you may not be able to refill if you desire, and the replacement ink carts are still marked up well beyond a great profit. My mother's HP Photosmart something or other takes 3 ink carts, they're about $35 each! It costs $100 to refill the ink! For a few ounces of INK! Gold? Yeah, but ink!? You would think at that price, HP would be nice enough to make a Vista/7 driver for that printer, but no, they're too lazy to do that. My mother must have paid $2,000 for that printer so far, they can't even get her a proper Vista/7 driver. I had to basically force the damn thing to use another driver, now she only gets basic print abilities. There's a whole card reader portion of the printer that is as good as garbage because there's no drivers for it. I had to buy her a separate card reader.

All this makes me wanna take all the inkjet printers out into the yard and...

Clearly, if you had read the game's EULA...

Oh wait, we're talking about printers. Never mind.

finally tested out my extra sega saturns.

had four of them laying around, one I bought a few weeks ago.

Only one was defective!

The one that didnt work had a messed up video screen. Black comes up blue and there's a strange fuzzyness to it.

Played Sonic Jam and there was no backgrounds and only certain parts of the characters showed up. Some spikes and platforms were still visible.

I was playing sonic 2 off of memory! Even if there wasnt any ground and some missing animations I still played it off memory. Placement of enemies and stuff helped.

it was interesting.

This goes both ways, but... whats with people who try to cram as much as possible into their days/lives, like working 40 hours a week + double majors in college + dating + hobbies, it's like they cant sit still! are they afraid life will pass them by or something?

I spent the last five minutes debating if I wanted to have a few beers, chat in the RB IRC, or play some Mass Effect 3. I have decided to do all three at once.
