I predict that if lisalover1 becomes a mod, he'll go mad with power and then play his fiddle while Racketboy burns.

Maybe you just need incriminating pics of the current moderators. Just throwing that out there too.
Way ahead of you:

Wow, has it been so long since I became a moderator? All I had to do was track down a wild snipe with nothing more than my bare hands, a rusty knife, and a copy of Ballz 3D. I managed to find that bloody snipe prowling around the Genesis section of a Play N Trade, and from there I repeatedly bashed its skull with the cartridge, rendering it useless. From there, I had to bathe in its blood for three days and then climb the Aztec temple of Quoahaltiluca, so I could call down the Racketeer god and defeat him in X-Men Vs. Street Fighter. Once Racket's avatar lay bloodied and broken at my feet, I claimed the power Moderatus and became the undying golden man god you see before you here today.

Niode got his position by drunkenly yelling at the temple for three days, when the god got sick of it and just gave Moderatus to him.

Ack! I challenge you to a children's card game for the fate of the universe and even Racketboy Forums! The winner shall take the fabled mystical macguffin to present to the penguin of doom so he may not cast his flipper of judgement over the entire Off Topic board! We shall duel atop a mountain on top of a tower on top of a mountain in a frozen hurricane while riding machine gun motorcycles, as is the traditional ceremony in my homeworld! Onward, to battle!

In case of a tie, I propose an Iron Chef style George Foreman cook-off!

Excellent. Fetch my electric flyswatter, my pet jackalope. This will prove to be an arduous battle.
