Typically sports fans aren't gamers. Otherwise there would be some jock/geek Godzilla/Megatron honey BBQ/ sour creme and onion why am I/ doing this hybrid that would melt our minds and conceptions of the world.

I'm first off implying that you're making a sweeping generalization.

But I'm also implying that your posts in this thread are pretty trollish.

And lastly I'm implying that you're probably just wrong, since I know quite a few members here that I'd certainly consider (sigh) "hardcore gamers" that are very much into sports.

What the FUCK are you talking about?

You must be one of those idiotic retro gamers who can't play anything more complex than a game with two buttons, sits alone with his neckbeard all day in his mom's dark basement mourning the lost glory of his prepubescence, lamenting the fact that he doesn't have enough physical prowess to lift anything heavier than a Steel Battalion controller, and filling his head with stats about party members instead of knowledge that's actually useful in the real world.

^this is essentially the kind of claim you are making...

I've tried one of those by the way. Not as great as you're making it out to be.

Also, I've never played a college-hoops game before. I understand some of the rule nuances between NCAA and NBA games, but I'm not sure how this would translate into a complete NCAA round-ball title. (What would the off-season be like?)

My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

The neckbeard, a.k.a. "neard" is the lowest form of facial hair. Usually characterized by the same general air of laziness as its owner, the common neckbeard is also distinguished by the prey (cheetos, popcorn grease, wing sauce) caught in its thick, coarse mass, similar to spiders. It was invented and popularized by Wagner in the 18th century.
