LOCKOUT
Let's see...
Space Prison? Check.
President's Daughter needs to be saved? Check.
A loose cannon as the hero? Check.
Someone actually saying the hero is a loose cannon? Check.
This movie reeks of early 90's cheese, and I like it.
What was the last movie you've seen?

Ha, that does look pretty cool. Plus it's got Rudy from Misfits in it, so... cool!Luke wrote:LOCKOUT

First thought: "So... It's Escape From New York in space?"Luke wrote:LOCKOUT

Top Youtube comment: "This should have been called the remake of Escape from New York"

I just finished watching the rum diary.I was some what surprised how much i enjoyed since it didn't do well at the theater.
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Well I got a couple here:
Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park 3
The Secret World of Arrietty
Dumb and Dumber
3 of the 4 I've seen before, but hey.
The Parks Jurassic were on tv the other night, and I couldn't resist watching them because I've always loved them. The first is a classic of course. I enjoy the third for what it is as well, despite the fact that I always hear about how people hated it.
I dunno. Obviously it doesn't stand up to the first two, but its still good.
I need to watch The Lost World again though. I'm reading the book right now, but I haven't seen the movie in many years. I must see how they compare.
Secret World was wonderful, as I expected. My wife went to see it with me. It was her first Studio Ghibli movie, and she told me afterward that she loved it and was completely blown away by the quality of the animation. Right on.
She agreed that she'd like to see more of their movies, so I figure I'll show her Spirited Away next. I always liked that one.
We watched Dumb and Dumber tonight for kicks. I've probably seen it a dozen times over the years, and it never stops being funny.
