Yeah, he was at 16 million after 34 hours, so the math I calculated meant that at that point, he would need 70 hours and 42 minutes to get the record.

Pretty much anyone who's watched this record (as I have) has said that it'll take at least 70 hours to break the current record of 33,273,520 set back in 1983. There've been two others that have been going for the record over the past couple years, but the best either of them have mustered so far was a 59 hour marathon by George Leutz.

For most people, two or three hours of Q*Bert would drive them mad. That game is trippy as hell.
Gaming accomplishments:
Nibbler (marathon): 251,169,160 / Nibbler (one life): 5,263,360 (WR)
Donkey Kong: 423,100 [L12-1] (150th place as of 2019-01-15)
Super Smash Bros. (N64): Ranked top 5 in Wisconsin from Q1 2016 to Q2 2017
Shrek SuperSlam: won largest tournament in game's history (Shrekfest 2018)

Q*Bert is apparently the worst because of the colors. Soon you see players making mistakes because they don't know what they are doing.

He is killing men right now.

EDIT: Wow. 70 hours? Record in 1983? Is that legit?

That's the exact same kind I have. It rocks.
I'm surprised at the quality of screen for 2005. This thing gets pretty bright and black levels are excellent, even if the refresh rate is a bit low.

It's basically the DS Lite screen at a lower resolution. Funny how for a while, the GBA SP had a better screen than either the DS or the PSP.

Pet peeves of the OCD collector: "eco-boxes" on modern games, the fact that PS1 longboxes have the spine printed upside-down, and the way that Sony redesigned the PSP boxart.

That guy probably went at a faster pace back then.

Ed is currently 15 minutes away from 60 hours. 27.37 million points right now. So many lives.
