dear uh... movie producers:

I know 3D is kinda the 'in' thing right now, but if you're gonna make a movie in 3D, can you at least have enough dignity to NOT put "3D" in the title? It's really lame, especially if the movie in question is the 3rd in a series.

It reminds me of the games that were coming out in the second half of the 90s: Duke Nukem 3D, Army Men 3D, SimCity 2000, Beach Head 2000, and don't forget "Super Game 64." Game developers were eager to use the newest coolest buzzwords to boost sales.

Frankenstein, the 1931 movie. Kind of a yawn. I only watched it because I had to for a paper I'm doing on the Frankenstein book. I like Young Frankenstein and The Munsters a lot more.

Someone earlier posted splice.

I hate that movie. It accomplishes what it sets out to do, but later plot developments make me just hate it. Three things I don't like in movies.
1.Shown Rape
2.Bestiality
3.Genetic Experiments that involve people without being overly far fetched, this one really bothered me with the idea it could be possible.

bronson. watched it last night. i loved how they didn't try to make you sympathize for this guy, they just showed you who he was and what he did. they didnt have that obligatory childhood "this is how he became such a monster" scene that biopics usually have. tom hardy killed it through out. it was awesome.

hour of the wolf. my second ingmar bergman film, after persona. this was a much much easier film. it was one of the best relationship studies i've ever seen. the whole idea of becoming the person you spend all your time with was done very well. cant wait to further explore his body of work. it was really really good.

silent running. bruce dern's acting was really good. the story was okay. the environmentalism was done pretty well, i guess. the ending felt slightly hallow. but the atmosphere and sets were nice. it was alright.
