Also, original Anakin played by Sebastian Shaw. None of this crap:

I never realized how unimportant Episode 1 is. Neat.the King wrote:I think this is going to solve a big problem for us (and our peers) in how we raise our children in this era of uncertainty and tumult:

Re: The Star Wars Saga: suggested viewing order
My kids have asked about the movies so I'm planning to do the same. I know that I saw the first 2 moves (IV, V) but I'm not sure about the third one (VI). I definitely did not see any of the prequels.Ziggy587 wrote:I'm sold, I like the Machete Order. If I ever have the opportunity to show some one the Star Wars movies that have never seen them before, this is the order I will be showing them in!
I still remember lining up in a long line to watch the first movie when it came out in the theater. We actually saw it twice by staying in the theater for the next showing.

I got these rips they were talking about on that site. They're pretty damn good. The sound is a little tinny, and it's definitely 5.1, but it's a little echoy. it'd be nice to have a nice 7.1 DTSHD sound but I'd much rather watch these with their tinny sound than any of the newer versions any day!

You know, I think Episode III is actually the worst of the prequels.

It at least doesn't have awful "romantic" dialogue taking up half of the film. Really, no.AppleQueso wrote:You know, I think Episode III is actually the worst of the prequels.

I don't know, that balcony "love" scene almost blows all the scenes from II out of the water.General_Norris wrote:It at least doesn't have awful "romantic" dialogue taking up half of the film. Really, no.AppleQueso wrote:You know, I think Episode III is actually the worst of the prequels.
