Thanks man. BTW, Megaupload was seized by the FBI a while ago. Can you get your friend to re-upload it somewhere else, like mediafire?

Next week, since flojo wants non-metal, I'll be posting some chiptune jazz!

I listen to all sorts of music, which is easy when it's free :P But my first two have been power metal, heh. Maybe I should update the topic title with genre?

Well before metal ends I will list one of my favorite bands that have all four of their releases for download with bonus tracks on some.

The bands name is Anacrusis and the they play a technical mix of progressive/thrash with doom influences. Can't say I have heard another band that sounds like them. They truly add a lot of new sounds and ideas to metal. For one they tuned down to a B and this was in the 80's, and they don't come off sounding to low like other low tuned bands do.

All right then, wrapping up metal week! Next we'll have jazz week so post some old-school Louis Armstrong, electro-jazz fusion, or anything else that'll do Mr. Fitzgerald proud.

Shadows of Paragon is offering some really brutal awesome black/death metal in this EP. All of the songs are from their album, Through the Valley Within, so if you like this you should buy the whole album.

Desiderium has some really cool harsh, sparse, fantasy black metal. An Image of Solitude is my favorite. http://desiderium.bandcamp.com/releases

Obsidian Shell is another enjoyable synth metal band. They're not as well-written or mysterious as The Scarlet Citadel, but the female vocals and charming electronic sounds make their stuff worth a listen. They've got like 4 albums you can download free at http://www.jamendo.com/en/artist/Obsidian_Shell

Blood Covenant (Synth metal), Segor (death metal), and Garegin (???) are three Christian metal bands that share this website. A lot of the albums are free. Sign of Time is pretty entertaining.

Got any "free" jazz for us, Noise?

PROTODOME has some really cool chiptune jazz that makes me smile all the time. Albums are short but very sweet. Download in FLAC for pure bliss and make a donation if it makes you want to dance.

Really, guys? No jazz at all? I'm heartbroken. I've got some, though. Nice and soft and lovely and sort of French.

The Greater Tide by Attalus A true masterpiece. And, free!

Alexander the Great offers their two older albums for free. This stuff is quiet and thoughtful. Low-end production but a great listen.

Enjoy :D
