Mine just came in the mail and I'm loving it. The only complaint is that Amazon forgot to throw in the free screen protector! Grrr!

I thought the deal was that it said you got a $5 discount off the screen protector.

I remember something about it, I'd hit up Amazon support and see what's up. I'm sure you're not the only one confused.

I just did. It turns out that you had to manually order it yourself BEFORE they shipped out your Vita. Oh well. No biggie. I am sure my local Daiso will start carrying them for $1.50. If you have a Daiso in your area they carry good Japanese-made screen protectors for all systems for a buck and a half.

So they gave you $5 towards a $5 item, basically making it free, but only if you read the fine print.

Well, I checked out Best Buy and GameStop after work. At Best Buy the Vita was sold out, and they didn't have any of the games I wanted. Thus I could not make use of the buy 2 get 1 deal.

At GameStop I didn't even bother asking if they had Vita's. They had about 6 people on the floor in a nearly empty store, and no one even asked if I needed assistance, haha. Usually I would just walk up to the counter, but I honestly did not feel like it, haha. And they also have a buy 2 get 1, but the games I am interested in are not part of the deal.

I think I'll order one on Amazon after I get tired of Project Diva Extend.

I saw kmart had the vita on sale for i think 249. and they had a decent amount of games as well

Walmart had a ton of Vitas today around 6pm. Only had 3 different games, but they looked pretty stocked with those 3. I guess my rural little area wasn't all that stoked about the Vita. Big shock
