Mike did, he said it sucked.

He also picked up:

Angry Birds: Becuase he just realized this was a game, and not just stuffed animals that all the chubby secretaries at work have on their desks. I get the feeling this has been known about for awhile, so I won't elaborate on the guilty fun this little title is.

Archibalds Adventure: Puzzle platformer on a skateboard, has a bit of "Lode Runner 3D meets Paperboy" feel to it. Each board takes about 15-45 seconds to navigate - not terribly challenging but not a bad title.

Bloons: My fav mini so far. It's basically the Angry Birds idea in that you have a set number of arrows and you have to destroy a set number of balloons. It keeps evolving though, arrows do different things (become boomerangs, ricochet of rubber, stick into brick, break through wood) and there are different "bloons", ice bloons, dynamite bloons, and they all do something to either help or hinder your ability to clear the board. Really liking this game, tons of replay value and stages get progressively harder of course.

Bermuda Triangle: Sucks a bit harder than the original release - this is a case where "enhancing the graphics" makes it feel like i'm playing a crappy game with good graphics and i'm thinking, "Why am I playing this, if the graphics are this crisp, why is the game so clunky." I'd prefer the atari version over the mini.

Vanguard: Similar to Bermuda I guess, though it didn't seem to annoy me as much, maybe because the original graphics are so barebones, were talking 30 years old here now, that even tightening and brightening them didn't change the actual feel of the game so much. The game itself is a one stage shooter that takes about 5 minutes to complete, mostly horizontal w/some brief vertical elements. It's $3 and I thought that was a bit steep. I won't play it again.

Denki Blocks: This is a neat little puzzle game, you are given a series of disconnected blocks and you use tour d-pad / toggle to move them together...using stationary objects to "block" one block as you move others closer, to enable them to join. It has some solid replay value as there are (3) additional goals for each puzzle, in addition to the main goal of simply completing the block connection. They are: Race for best time, Fewest moves to achieve completion, and special quest, usually to turn the blocks into a particular shape (not just any solid shape, but an actual laid out design, like a cross or a star, etc).

The Marbians: A bit like the Mercury Meltdown / Marble Mania games from PS2 and Wii, but not quite as good. Release your marble (via toggle, again like Angry Birds) to bump into a series of check points. Simply not as involved or complicated as Angry Birds or Bloons, not recommended over the aforementioned titles.

Yeah, it's been a time-suck during the time of night I usually fight or whatever. My kids like it quite a bit too - it's good fun.

WHAT!!!
Mini Squadron is one of the best iPhone games I have ever played. It's simply, fun and addictive. What more could you want?

Dunno, maybe Koujuu Beetles? Loli's? Rose Sisters? ESPers? Yup, even on an iPhone - else it's just shovelware, $3 pricetag withstanding.

it's simple, I'll give you that. Fun for maybe two levels. Addictive? Well... I managed to never pick it up a second time.
