Over on a site I frequent often, they giveaway one game title for free on the weekend, along with one misc software title a day. They are full versions, with the catch being it must be installed/registered on the day it is given away. Today they have a horizontal shooter Jets & Guns....about a 90 mb download. Thanks for the heads-up - the game seems quite decent and has good reviews.

Does the site frequently have such high quality stuff, or is that only once a week / month that there's a better one?

They giveaway games only on the weekends and different types of application...all different types...during the week. They have given away some pretty decent stuff, but at random. I suggest checking every day cause you never know if it is something you can use.

Looks decent, but unfortunately I only have a mac. Do they ever have games for macs or just PC stuff?

Machinae Supremacy did the soundtrack to this one. I really like some of their stuff.

Don't really like horizontal shmups that much, but I'll try it.

I just saw this topic yesterday. It's a pity, because I just recently got into 2D Shooters.

I have played it only a little, but my first impression is that there's too many distracting special effects when you blast something that confuse me a lot and I then get hit by real bullets etc.

I read that this release came with spyware, so everyone do a scan on your machines.
