I'm planning to see it, hopefully within the week.
It's definitely worth seeing. Especially if you like Ghibli movies. Like a lot of Miyazaki movies it has a real air of calm, even during the more action oriented scenes. There's a real emphasis on nature, though it's not part of the plot and there's a splash of magic, adventure, and humor thrown in for good measure. Oh, and it's got a great dub. But that's to be expected from a film presented by Disney. Plus, Carol Burnett does the voice of the semi-protagonist. What's not to love? To me it felt like a combination of Totoro and a milder Spirited Away. I'ma get it when it's releasedJ T wrote:Oh, I want to see that one too! I just watched Howl's Moving Castle tonight for the first time. It was great!
And Howl's is good, isn't it? I find it really hard to rank Ghibli films, just like I find it hard to rank Pixar films, but for me Howl's is definitely near the top of the list.
