I just got one today off craigslist. $300 for that early launch edition plus a copy of Uncharted! :D

I'll second what everyone else is saying, it's awesome. Uncharted is a really good showcase for the system. The story does seem a little light but I'm only on chapter 2.

If anyone wants to add me on PSN go for it: Cronson. I'm sure I'll be on there a lot now.

Sooo who's played Wipeout? I'm seriously tempted, since they're giving away all the HD and Fury content to early adopters...

I am kinda pissed that Gamestop and Target are both running B2G1 sales on new Vita games starting tomorrow AFTER I already ordered the games from Amazon (since the games came out last week they've already arrived and I opened them).

I'm having trouble choosing.

I could go for Uncharted or Ninja Gaiden as my 3rd game. I just don't know. :?:

I'm thinking I'd like Uncharted more as a game but I'm thinking Ninja Gaiden might lend itself better to being portable.

From what I've read, NG is basically a port whereas Uncharted is really designed to show the system's technical muscle. I obviously went with the latter, as the appeal (in part) for me is original console-esque gaming experiences on the go.

Are there any other games totally worth getting right now? Uncharted is great but I need something else.

Wipeout 2048 looks and plays fantastic from what I've played on a demo unit.

I went to Target but they were all sold out of Vita games.

Off to Gamestop. :x

Ordered my vita today.Couldnt afford much in terms of games.Got just a memory card bundled in.Im hoping to get motorstorm rc and stardust first.

I love the whole thing of having owned Hustle Kings on ps3 i get the vita version free and i get the wipeout 2048 dlc free when its launched for owning HD/Fury.
Im looking to get lumines, wipeout and golf for my main games and possibly unit 13 in march.

Quick few questions for people already with one,Sorry if its already been asked but i only briefly went through the thread.

-With psp games(digital)do they all work straight away?
-If a psp game has online, Can i still play online or do i need adhoc on ps3 still?
-Can i put my ps1 digital games on it straight away?i kinda want to do a res evil run thru and ff7.
-Do all digital games allow button mapping?
-Lastly which game seems to be the best game for overall value for money?

cheers guys and im hyped for wednesday.

Compatibility is hit and miss. It'll show up on the Vita PSN store if it works
-If a psp game has online, Can i still play online or do i need adhoc on ps3 still?
If the PSP game is still online then I'd gather it'll work fine. I'm not sure what you mean by needing adhoc on ps3 still.

I don't see why not. If you're selling your original PSP be sure to deactivate it though
-Do all digital games allow button mapping?
This will be on a game by game basis, as it is with physical games
-Lastly which game seems to be the best game for overall value for money?
I'd say Wipeout has the most long term appeal, with online play with an already active userbase on PS3. Uncharted is currently the best adventurey console like experience though.

I wasn't able to get any Vita games today. I was looking over my PC config and got a bit squeemish over the PSU and bought a nice PSU instead. I'll still be getting a PSV next week though. Just have to throw some stuff up on eBay.
