Racketboy is the most involved gaming community ever

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Racketboy is the most involved gaming community ever

Post by Erik_Twice »

Think about it. Just about everyone who posts here regularly has it's own blog, works hard in a podcast, has one or more arcade machines, is involved into competitive gaming or owns more than three hundred videogames. And even people who don't tend to have extensive knowledge of certain series of games, think how unique is that.

It's no surprise I think that this is the best resource for videogames I have ever seen. Even if your query isn't solved directly, someone will be able to point you in the best direction in no time. This is great!

Thanks a lot everyone :)

Gotta give props too to guys who contribute articles like Ack, BulletMagnet and other cool members. I know from experience how hard it is to put some of those things together

I am honestly very happy to be involved with such a living, vibrant community such as this one. All thoughts and opinions on games are very well respected here, everyone contributing has a lot of heart and experience and passion in what they do, and I feel sharing all that I enjoy is very beneficial and a way of giving back. Not many knew what my name or the game was, but they love it! There is a depth of information and insight here not found on many other retro sites, and it also re-ignited my stagnant collecting bug once again. I don't think I would have jumped on a GBA or all the Dreamcast stuff I got in the past 2 months if it weren't for Racketboy.

Whenever people ask me about a video game/console/gaming issue, I almost always refer them to this website. Either an article, thread, etc.

That, and InecomCompany. They kick ass too.
