I literally just wrote an article yesterday for Sega Addicts about how this game should be made. Less than 24 hours later, it gets slipped that the All Stars Racing 2 is in the works.
Sevin - you and me have some racing to do later this year.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Still need to get the first one, heard it had tons of Saturn/ Dreamcast fanservice with a bit of Genesis and Master System stuff thrown in.

It lavished the Dreamcast / Naomi era like I never expected. It was also very Billy Hatcher-centric, for some odd reason. Sadly, the Saturn era franchises were almost entirely ignored beyond a small cameo by NiGHTS.
All that aside, Sonic and Sega All Star Racing is a tight game on all the systems it came out on. I actually preferred it to Mario Kart.

I picked it up last year and bought it for Wii and 360. If you have a ps3 or 360, it is the best kart racer available. New characters I would like to see are NiGHTs, Sam (vanquish), Temjin (Virtual-On), Toe Jam & Earl, Sackboy ( ps3 exclusive), and Daytona USA car. I would like some of my favorites to stay, such as Banjo-Kazooie, Beat, B.D Joe, and Opa Opa.
P.S NO MONKEY BALL STAGES!!!

No Monkey Ball stages? OK then, guess we'll have to make up for it with Sky Sanctuary

If Sam is in the game and just knee-slides the entire course, this will be the first game I spend $60 on in several years.

I want a NiGHTS stage. Hell, any love for Saturn era Sega would be nice.
I am pretty sure Bayonetta will be in it since she has been Sega's most recent successful new character.

Wow. This is so cool. The roster of the first game didn't blow me away really but I loved the game nonetheless, and generally I hate every racing game that isn't a Wipeout game. Will definitely have my eye on this, gotta grab up every Sega-centric game we get these days.

Fuck yeah!
I've been seeing rumor after rumor about this on Sonic Stadium, and speculation that the game might just be an update of the original for the Wii U.
I'm so glad to hear its a real sequel. Awesome awesome awesome.
Hey Sega, NiGHTS should be playable! Get to it!
Axel and Blaze in a cop car would be slick too.
I'm excited.

sweet. I actually got this for PC along with Mario Kart for the Wii, and I ended up playing it more than MKW.
My only complaint with the PC port is that the controls were uncustomizable, it's a good thing there are x360 controller emulators, so I was still able to use my pad.
