As Hobie posted, just match the pads. Be sure to cut the traces inside the Arcade controller you want each button isolated from each other. no, it's no the IR wireless, but good point about the thick casing as a concern. I'm not sure I'll do this or not, it's more an idea for a project that might sit on the backburner for a while. But more or less just trying to figure out how possible it is.
I think you read my tease earlier about the Tatsunoko Arcade stick. I'm debating on gutting a Wii Remote and keeping it functioning as normal.
