if you're close to the border to mexico, the coke here is made with sugar.

it tastes different. Better.

Its sweeter and its less gassy. IE you can drink it and not get that fizzyness going up your nose/throat.

But for some reason, its the opposite for Pepsi!

The pepsi down here is ok, But there are times that the US pepsi tastes better.

For years I liked Coke more myself, but eventually yeah all I could taste was the syrup. So I prefer Pepsi nowadays...

I pretty much never drink either though, try to keep away from caffeine. lol

Mexican/Passover Coke is my favorite beverage.

Mexican Pepsi and Pepsi Throwback are identical, since they are both made with sugar. I think Pepsi made with sugar is far better than HFCS Pepsi. I can't even drink standard Pepsi anymore.
