The whole fridge thing isn't any more far fetched than oh, about everything from Temple of Doom. Plus, failure on your part to know anything about who is credited for Crystal Skull. You have no idea how much worse this movie would have been without Lucas' and Ford's direction (but yeah I agree it's a pretty awful movie).
I dislike the SW prequels, but really, associating seeing a sub par movie to being raped is dumb.
He didn't rape me. Nobody but the most diehard Lucas fan is going to go back and watch Crystal Skull in 20 years, the way millions do with Temple of Doom. And from what I understand, we're lucky we didn't see Jones getting married like Lucas originally wanted, so I don't know what you're on about regarding how he improved the film. Though it's not like Spielberg is deserving of the dick-sucking that's been the last two decades for him. It's a shame the written-by-a-2-year-old vine-swinging scene isn't on Youtube to link it here as well (or not, so as to spare anyone who hasn't had the misfortune of seeing it)
i'm far more bothered by Lucas's refusal to release the original Star Wars films in their original, non-CG'd up forms than i am by the fact that he made some shitty prequels.

That's my point. I'm bothered by his tempering with very historically important movies, him making other movies is irrelevant.
He can make all the prequels, sequels and remakes he wants and there's no harm in doing so. I wouldn't oppose even a Citizen Kane 2.

Shit. I said he improved the film? I never meant to say that if I did. If you are talking about my comment on little greedo and jar jar, I was being more than slightly sarcastic.

They've been out for quite a while:
They also look great on LaserDisc, don't laugh, they really do.

Those DVDs are literally the laserdisc masters slapped onto a disc. They're pretty good by 1993 standards, terrible by 2006 standards.
Yup, but I wouldn't say that it looks terrible on 2006 equipment. I'm sure it looks awful on any hdtv, but it doesn't look too bad on a laptop.
