Are we really exited about Taker/Triple H 2? I really just want these old men to go away. I wish Kane would chokeslam Taker to hell and take over as the new badass, supernatural guy in the WWE. Taker's old and boring

nope. I don't want to see Taker/Triple H 3 (actually) again. maybe a rematch with Kane would work better since his pretty much reborn. he hasn't face the mask Kane since Wrestlemania 14. So might as well be his own brother and they can work on the same pace. If not, maybe a Brock Lesnar return?

I was hoping for Brock Lesnar, seeing as Triple H v Taker last year was just weapon based really. And finishers. It would make sense to have Taker win and get 20-0 then have masked Kane retire him at the next Wrestlemania perhaps. It's a shame they just bring Taker back for his annual match, I hope they don't do it much longer unless they book someone to actually break the streak. Everybody knows the streak is pre-determined and of course it's done to make Taker seem unbeatable but it would be cool if all Taker's previous opponents interfered at some stage in a Kane v Taker match, eventually causing Taker to be pinned and carried out in a casket.

Why would having Kane end the streak make sense when both guys are close to retiring? If you're going to give the rub (and I don't think he'll ever lose), you give it to a younger guy.

I've read that HBK may ref this one which could make it slightly more interesting I guess. Remember everyone thought he'd interfere in last year's (or possibly ref that one but he just showed up for a couple promos).

I disliked how HHH acted like HE won last year in how he dismissed the Undertaker challenging him. Have to wait and see how it plays out.

I don't see why he has to give the rub or pass the torch or put someone over. They had Maven eliminate Taker from the Royal Rumble and that did wonders for him...

Nobody will have a career like Taker's but Kane is the only guy who would put a stop to him. He is his brother, a fellow 7 ft. "monster" and his connections with Paul Bearer would help a story behind the feud. I know it was sort of done before where Taker was in a vegetative state, but it just seems the only logical opponent that is powerful enough to break the streak.

I agree, sometimes I do get tired of the internet wrestling community's obsession with getting people over. Not everything the WWE does has to serve that purpose. Sometimes you just do something because it makes a good storyline. I do think Kane ending the streak makes a good storyline. In fact, I could see a match where HBK is the ref. Kane interferes. HBK sees it but pretends not to. Then Taker kicks out of a pin attempt by Hunter. He shoves HBK, who responds with a superkick. Hunter goes for the pin. HBK does a fast count. Him and Hunter celebrate and both give Taker the crotch chop. Then Kane enters the ring for a post match beat down followed by a Tombstone. Paul Bearer shows up with the "minions". They put Taker in a casket. Kane lights the ring posts on fire and starts laughing with Paul Bearer as Taker's casket is brought up the ramp.

Of course, this would all take place after a long, epic match between Taker and Hunter so people get their money's worth. Next night on Raw, Kane delivers an epic promo and once again refers to himself as the Devil's Favorite Demon and you see Bearer behind him with the urn. Maybe the lights go out and you hear the bell toll. They come back on and Kane is still in the ring and he just looks at the crowd and laughs

"The streak is over, the Deadman is dead. Now, your hero is gone. It's time....to embrace....the hate. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

In fact, that could set up a Hunter/Kane feud as they argue over who is really responsible for ending the streak. Taker fans can always say that it took more than one guy to end the streak, a nice send off for Taker

The smarks are sucking the joy out of wrestling, and the internet has killed any element of surprise in wrestling, which used to be one of the best parts of wrestling.

I find both marks and smarks annoying in different ways. I agree with some of your points though. The internet has taken a lot of the surprises out of entertainment. That's the nature of the internet though. It's changed everything. You listen to any podcast about any tv show and there's always a spoiler section. It's hard to keep surprises in all entertainment in general these days

So, here's wishful thinking on my part. I wish the WWE would have a diva battle royal. Then Karma shows up and demolishes them all. The Bellas, Eve, Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, all of the bimbos on the roster. Then Beth Phoenix shows up in front of the Titan Tron and holds up the women's title. Karma gives her a mean look from the ring, with broken, battered, diva bimbos lying all over the ring around her

I guarantee people will care about the division again. They booked Beth really strong this week on the pay per view and on Raw. They may be setting her up for a Karma feud. I loved when she tagged herself in by slapping one of the Bellas on her team on Raw, then held up the rope and said, "Get out of my ring!". Then she went in there and just destroyed Kelly Kelly

Do you all follow Pro Wrestling Guerrilla? I found out about it maybe a month or two ago and every clip I've seen on Youtube is just awesome.

I'm watching TNA Impact Wrestling right now as it's airing on the West Coast. I just wanted to say:
DAMN! That's a freaking HUGE crowd. And they're loud and active. You don't see crowds like that at WWE shows in U.S. anymore, let alone TNA. It's like Wrestlemania crowd. England must love TNA.

I'm watching TNA Impact Wrestling right now as it's airing on the West Coast. I just wanted to say:

As an Englishman I can confirm that TNA is fairly big here. I went to a TNA show in 2009 at Wembley Arena and a WWE Raw show last year, and the main difference is the TNA show was 80% guys in their late teens to early thirties, the WWE show was 80% parents with their children. The atmosphere is completely different. Hogan was interviewed by the BBC whereas WWE stars are interviewed on Sky Sports News. TNA is shown on a free channel, WWE is on Sky Sports (£50 a month). It's known for TNA to have more viewers than WWE here which is clearly down to the ease of being able to watch the shows, as I was a regular viewer of TNA from 2005-2009 but have switched to WWE now as since Nexus the product has been superior. I keep up via the Internet through Youtube mainly.

One thing is for sure, TNA shows are better than WWE ones as they offer meet and greet superstar competitions at the shows and they generally treated the crowd more personally. I remember Kurt Angle stayed for 20 minutes after his match against AJ Styles (which was awesome) to give a thank you speech to his British fans. I haven't followed TNA lately so I don't know if their shows are still as good, but I'm kicking myself that they were just here with Sting and Hogans first appearance here since the WCW days.
