Rules:

I never read the original Neil Gaiman story, which I plan to. I want to read all of his works. Anyway, I found the movie quite charming and it has some A list actors in De Niro and Pfeiffer

Starship Troopers for me

Excellent choice. I love that movie. That choice calls for this movie next, which had a similar dark sense of humor:
