yeah, he had some grittyness about him and pulled off the bad ass attitude. i didn't see that yet with the new guy. plus he just looks too small to me to pull off being a gladiator. i dunno yet, it's only 1 episode though.

'90s are All That on TeenNick.
It's mostly All That and Kenan and Kel (both make up the first half), but each night, they swap the 1-2a/3-4a shows.
Tonight was an hour of Doug. Some of the other shows include Rugrats (personally, the old episodes were better, whereas the eps since 1999 felt too saccharin and toned down the adult-friendly references (Lonely Space Vixens, anyone?)) and Hey Arnold.
Personally, I can't wait until they begin airing some of their other live-action shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark (apparently, the first five seasons were only released on DVD in Canada and now are OOP & selling for a hundred bucks each) or Space Cases, though I haven't seen Roundhouse in ages.

Eh, wake me up when they rerun You Can't Do That On Television.REPO Man wrote:'90s are All That on TeenNick.

I've been a big Supernatural fan for a while. I think they peaked with season 5 though. Season 6 was decent, but this current season has been kind of boring. I'm hoping the show can get its mojo back, but I think it's hard for a show to stay interesting after five seasons. Supernatural seems out of ideas and they are really short on good supporting characters right now. You can't have every single episode just be about Sam and Deancookie monster wrote:I been watching supernatural

The problem with Rugrats is that it went downhill after the movie, just like nearly every show that has a movie and continues afterwards does. After the movie, it really only existed to milk money from the name it has already built up, sort of like Spongebob today.REPO Man wrote:'90s are All That on TeenNick.

I've always wanted to watch Supernatural, just never got around to it.
I'm currently watching Once Upon a Time and Grimm and New Girl.
I think Grimm has a Buffy/Angel vibe, especially Buffy in the early years, where she was constantly going to Giles to figure out what the Demon of the Week was. Since the main char in Grimm is new to being a Grimm he is constantly talking to this wolf guy or looking in like a Grimm Encyclopedia to figure stuff out. I like it.
Once Upon a Time is getting pretty good too. I thought it was a little weak at first, the writing was strained, and the acting was overdone. Over the last few eps though, this show has really picked up, the writing is getting better, and the hooks they have to keep you interested are working.
New Girl is just a fun little sitcom and man if I don't find Zooey D, just down right yummy. She's got that cute weirdo that I wan't to do bad things to vibe. And since this show is mostly about her, it works for me. The supporting characters are really varied and funny, really good writing. Love it.

BBC's Luther. I think it kind of lost a bit of its brilliance after the first episode, and the killers are kind of schlocky, but Idris Elba makes the whole damn show worth watching.
It's on Netflix, so if you've got some spare time I recommend it.

Start Supernaturl with season 1. It's not amazing, but you'll see it improve season by season with season 5 being the best, and the story flows a bit better if you watch it from the beginning. After season 5, they switched showrunners and season 6 was still pretty good, though it felt a bit aimless at times. This current season though....meh. They kind of dropped the major plot elements from season 6 and introduced a rather lame bunch of new enemies and one of the main characters did something very morally questionable that really hurt the character a lot in my eyes. I always say it's hard to keep the high quality of a show after five seasons and I think I'm seeing that in SupernaturalStark wrote:I've always wanted to watch Supernatural, just never got around to it.

I like the potential I see in Grimm, but they need to get away from the monster of the week formula and get a good plot going in my opinion. The episodes I've seen feel like Law & Order, but with monsters for bad guys. A show like this needs to develop a good mythology and some serialized storytelling. Those are part of what made Buffy and Angel such amazing shows. They're still the benchmark I compare shows like Grimm and Supernatural too
I love Once Upon a Time! I think it's probably the most interesting new show on right now. It's got some people from Lost working on it and you can even see occasional Lost references if you pay attention. I think the show has a bright future and I've heard that the ratings are good. It's a different take on the concept from the Fables comics and I like it a lot
I've also recently become a fan of The Big Bang Theory and I'm starting to get into How I Met Your Mother. I'm not a sitcom guy, but these are pretty good. I also finally managed to catch some episodes from the last season of Futurama. That show is still awesome. I started watching Alcatraz and I like it. Fringe is still pretty good. I'm also eagerly awaiting the next new episode of Nikita. I think that is the most underrated show on tv right now. It's really, really good and more people should be watching it. The action, the drama, the cast, the plotting, that show is just kicking ass!

I'm with you the problems with Grimm, I think I would like the show better than Once if they started having more of an overarching story. I mean they put some things in place and just left them hanging. Especially with the police captain.Gamerforlife wrote: I've also recently become a fan of The Big Bang Theory and I'm starting to get into How I Met Your Mother. Love Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. There's a really good consistency to both those shows.
Yeah, Nikita, haven't watched that yet, I was seeing somewhere I could watch that streaming, anyone remember where that was? I don't have cable, I only do streaming.
