Pokemon Puzzle League (and variants) use shapes, as do Yoshi's Cookie and Zoop. Matching games using mahjong tiles are good, especially if they have other tilesets. I'm sure there are others, but those immediately come to mind.Key-Glyph wrote:I love that you mention this because a friend of mine and I realized only a few months ago that Tetris was the one puzzle game we could think that was not color-dependent. Are there many/any others that don't? I guess there's Snood, if I'm remembering correctly, but that's all I've got.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Thank God Tetris doesn't use colors.

I can play Dr. Mario, but I'm pretty bad at it. I can resolve all of the colors, but I am really slow about it, and I can't really get a top-level view of the play field. I can only distinguish a few viruses in a small area at once. If I'm not looking right at them, reds fade into the background, and yellow and blue just run together.
When I was ten or something, we had an electronic LCD columns game that used shapes. For an lcd game, it was actually a lot of fun.
