It's songs like this that prove that rap has falsely been given a bad name now that we know that it is not a work of fiction and Ice Cube in fact really had a good day.

Not all rap is violent and harmful to children. This is one song that is positive and reinforces the happiness of having a good day. Every child should understand that if "just yesterday those fools tried to blast me" that there is bright side since today "nobody I know got killed in South Central L.A." It's songs like this that made Ice Cube the new king of family friendly movies like "Are We There Yet".

Ice Cube proves to us that if you look at life as a glass that is half full, then everyday could possibly be a good day too.

Hm. But "Good Day" was two days.


First of all, (in a sarcastic tone) we would need to know if the GoodYear Blimp flew that day, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

We also need to know if you can actually get a fat burger at 2am in LA on January 20th. With that in mind the so called "Good Day" takes place over a span of TWO days, from breakfast with no hog one morning, an afternoon of bones and hoops, then the jimmy runs deep (so deep put her ass to sleep), a fat burger the next day, and concluding with "Ice Cube's a pimp" written on the Goodyear blimp, without a doubt near 5am.
