I think it'd be cool if they actually allowed the characters to age. It worked really well for Mark of the Wolves. Seeing Terry older and more mature was a highlight in a game already full of highlights.EvilRyu2099 wrote:Yeah I bet Kula is still 14 by KoF 35 LOL!!! Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
Re: Soul Calibur V
Okay, thread revival time. I just went ahead and pre-ordered the PS3 version on Amazon and was quite pleased to not only receive a $10 credit but also release day delivery for free.

Re: Soul Calibur V
did you get the LE or the standard? How much are they through Amazon? I definitely want it, but was planning to wait a bit for a price drop. ($40 is my sweet spot for PS3 games unless it's something really special or important to me that I can't wait for).Flake wrote:Okay, thread revival time. Standard. I never bother with limited editions.noiseredux wrote:did you get the LE or the standard? How much are they through Amazon? It was the usual $59.99 but the ten dollar amazon credit softens that a bit, as does the release day delivery if you have prime and order today.
There are only a few games I will spend full retail on but Soul Calibur is one of them.

yeah I'm gonna wait a bit. Fighting-wise I'm actually way more excited for SFxTekken and DOA5.

For some reason the LE of SC V doesn't have release day shipping.. I'm thinking of deleting my preorder and getting the regular..

I'm excited. I won't be able to get it day one, but soon.

Dang another reason to get a PS3 or 360. The list of fighters that interest me is a growing.
Re: Soul Calibur V
I dropped $80 on the Collector's Edition and went with Best Buy because I get an extra character. GameStop gets you an Ivy Bobblehead. Nothing I want. And Amazon gets you a nice $10 credit.
Also went with Best Buy for FFXIII-2 Collector's Edition because I get an extra book with some backstory or something.
