What was the last movie you've seen?

is Before Sunset the first one? I loved that one. I didn't see the 2nd. I haven't seen Scanner Darkly either, but it does look nice from what I've seen in previews.

Oops, yes I meant Before Sunrise, Before Sunset is the second one and I've not seen it yet either. Scanner Darkly was odd, but I thought it was worth watching. I like things based on works by Philip K. Dick.

same here. I'm really not a big sci-fi fan the way I am with horror movies, but for some reason films based on his works always appeal to me.

The fact you used that image in response to it not being A Scanner Darkly is amusing. Was it on purpose?

Sorta, it occurred to me as I was googling the image.
Wow, that's unreal! It's extremely weird watching Carpenter sing.

Sucker Punch... I'm fairly certain I haven't seen anyone here say anything good about it. But I actually loved it.

Saw Annapolis and The Kingdom tonight, both of which were on TNT.

Great movies, and The Kingdom was incredibly exciting.

I feel icky typing this, but I've always liked Sarah Silverman. Yes, it's the same "She's sooo cute. Wait! What did she just say? How can someone so cute be so filthy?" routine (see Daniel Tosh), but I still find her to be funny.

So a friend called and said he saw her in a movie screening, full frontal nudity. Whether it makes the final cut I have no idea, but hopefully it's an added bonus to an already funny movie.

Oh, saw RED TAILS. Yup. Not much more to say besides tons of dreadful CGI and silly dialogue. It was a movie I wanted to like, but it's just too silly. 4 out of 4 silly faces.

One of my black friends was really excited to see this. The trailer looked pretty awesome when he showed me and I would have gone to see it with him, but Road Warrior was showing at the same time and was only one showing. I couldn't convince my friend to see RT later instead of seeing it opening night. He said it sucked bad and was full of pandering. There seemed to be a lot of "Black people like this, right? Let's put that in." mentality behind things.
