Any good non-ebay websites for Sega Gen?

Post by Kevman »

I don't know what it is, but after tedious searching for thep ast two weeks now I have yet to find a Sega Genesis Version 1 CIB. Everywhere from Amazon to Ebay and still nothing I'm looking for. If I'm lucky I'll come across one in poor condition with some games thrown in that I don't exactly care for.

I know a good website for Japanese games that has basically every Famicom game CIB at very cheap prices, so I know there must be more websites like this around.

So if you know a good website that has a decent collection of CIB games/systems at relatively low prices please share them here.

Craigslist! Also, go to local garage sales or goodwill. Ive bought three consoles at goodwill and all have worked perfectly!
Consoles Owned: Nintendo SNES, Nintendo GameBoy Color, Nintendo GBA, Sony PSX, PS2, PS3, Sega Master, Microsoft XBox

Garage Sales and the Thrift Store. These are the two places to go hunting for what you want. The best part about this is that usually everything you purchase is dirt cheap and you'd be amazed what people will sell it's awesome.

I've found a whole slew of amazing things as have others. Go out hunting and I'm sure you'll nab yourself some big game IE Sega 1st Gen CIB.

The problem I find with this is gas is extremely expensive nowaday. That's why I stop going. By the time you find something, you might have spent enough gas money to buy a copy or two on ebay.

I plan my routes pretty good with my Garmin System so I'm able to conserve gas. But yard sales can definetely be tedious after awhile. Yesterday for instance I went out specifically for a big yard sale which they'd put the wrong address in the paper. The address they listed was for the local Blockbuster.

I'm still debating about whether or not to go out Yard Sailing today. It's awesome when you make a great gaming find, but when you don't it starts to get old real quick.
