Help with ds lite not charging

Hey guys, help me out with this problem if you can. I purchased a used ds lite on ebay that had a broken hinge. I also purchase a replacement case the same day. Before swapping the cases, I made sure everything worked so I could leave feedback. Everything worked fine, I tested the charger and it charged with no problem. So I swapped out the cases and the ds works fine except when I went to charge it, it no longer turns the charging light on. As it is now, it turns on and plays fine, but I cant seem to get it to charge. I opened it back up and checked the connections and everything seems secured. I have researched the internet and most of what I find is people say theirs wont turn on and its the f1 and/or f2 fuze. Like I said mine turns on, but eventually the battery is going to die and I wont be able to charge it. Has anyone had this issue or know more about it than me. Thanks, for the help. Scott

Did you try turning it on with the charger in just to see if the little battery indicator says it is charging? It could just be the light not coming on.

Other then that it could be the connection it self or the charger.

yeah I tried turning it on with the charger already plugged in, but I didnt light up. Also I tried it with the dc car charger and that also didnt work.
