I don't care for Paul for the reasons I identified earlier, which I think anyone can understand as reasonable and well documented. I'd have to read through the thread again to be sure, but it seems like most of the inflammatory and disrespectful comments have come from people against Ron Paul. I think it sets a bad precedent to lock a thread in a situation like this because it would seem to encourage people to flame to the ground threads they don't like.

Just laugh it off. There's some mind-numbingly stupid statements both here and in the MU thread but the nonsense level isn't anywhere near close to some of the Ron Paul argument I've read.
