I've still got a stash of the X-Men cards Fleer used to produce.
A couple are even the awesome foil-stamped ones that sometimes appeared in a pack (or under glass at the card shop for $10+ a piece).

I have a few sets of marvel master piece and xmen cards. Actually have an unopened box of mid 90's marvel master piece packs.

Picked up a lot of those chase cards a year or two ago at a swap meet.

I have some! I've actually been trying to sell them on craigslist so I have my collection typed out...

Complete Sets:
1991 X-Force
1991 Marvel
1994 Spider-Man
1996 Fleer X-Men

Almost Complete:
1990 Marvel (contains all regular cards, missing 4 holograms)
1992 Marvel (missing 12 of 200 regular cards, contains all holograms)
1992 Marvel Masterpieces (contains all regular cards, missing 3 of the 5 bonus cards)
1993 Marvel Masterpieces (contains all regular cards, missing 7 foil cards)
1994 Marvel Universe (contains all regular cards, missing some bonus cards)
1994 Fleer Ultra Spider-Man (contains all regular cards, missing some signature and bonus cards)
1994 Marvel Masterpieces (missing 1 regular card, missing about half of the signature and bonus cards)
1995 Fleer Ultra X-Men (contains all regular cards, missing about half of the bonus cards)

Other Cards:
1993 Marvel (164 of 180 cards, missing most bonus cards)
1994 Fleer Ultra X-Men (114 of 150 cards, 6 of 10 bonus cards)
1994 Marvel Metal (about one-fourth of the set)
1997 Spider-Man (as assortment of cards, maybe about one-third to one-half of the complete set)
+ other random cards from various sets + many duplicates, card wrappers, and "uncut" sheet card advertisements

I have two binders chock-full of trading cards. I once owned a good number of comic cards with cool art, usually Marvel based, I especially remember Spider-Man and X-Men. Now I just have a handful of odd ones here and there.

I did recently buy a sealed box of Archie trading cards and got a complete set. Because I'm a mature adult. :P

Most of my trading cards are from non-comic properties though. My favorite is probably my good-sized collection of Sakura Wars cards from Japan.

I had a nearly complete set of the Marvel Flair cards, then my local K-Mart stopped carrying them..I also came close to finishing one of the Marvel Masterpiece sets, but I can't remember what year it was.

I did have a complete set of Marvel X-men cards though. I also had a bunch of the Marvel Universe cards. I used to love how they provided stats and trivia on the back of the card.

Not too long ago, I ran across an unopened box of Deathmate cards, from the Image/Valiant crossover back in the 90's. I might see how much they want next time I go by that store..

Are there any companies that put out comic cards that aren't part of some collectible card game?

I have an almost complete set of Marvel Impel cards from 1993:

I know I am missing 3 of the red foil ones (which are missing from that site). And a couple of the dual cards. But it has been almost twenty years since I collected them.

yeah love that set. I remember buying packs. I got maybe a total of three of those red chase cards on my own. I'd say about a year ago I picked up all the rest at a swap meet. Nice to have the full page but I'm missing a handful of the rest of the set.

I have the Marvel 1990 set, but without a single hologram. I still take them out from time to time to read the back of the cards and check their power ratings.

I remember some kids would take a pin and scratch the top of packs to see if a hologram was included. Rotten little punks.

You might want to check out series III of the marvel set. Its only of the biggest sets and has all kinds of awesome stats.

I was more into collecting comic book cards than comics as a kid. I believe the sets I collected most were Marvel Universe Series 3 and X-Men Series 2. Good times. I still have them all, but I think they're at my parents' house.
