Of course! I've known modders, photographers, and other people who used it as has been said, it was really cheap and good to use.BoringSupreez wrote:I've never used Megaupload before. Did it serve any purpose beyond piracy?

To be honest, I don't think I ever used it for anything besides that.BoringSupreez wrote:I've never used Megaupload before. Did it serve any purpose beyond piracy?

Yeah, I've used it to send files for work related stuff, I've used it to download files that were legal to share, etc. There's certainly a lot of legitimate usage of it, and from what I can tell the site was pretty good about taking down albums when they were notified to do so.Dylan wrote:To be honest, I don't think I ever used it for anything besides that.BoringSupreez wrote:I've never used Megaupload before. Re: Feds take down Megaupload.com
because bit torrent is a technology/concept, it's not physical or tangible and is not centralized at one website....AznKhmerBoi wrote:Just curious why dont they go after bit torrent ? They have full HD movie for downloads.
that's like saying they should shut down viruses.....
I've hosted some roms I've developed for the android community on megaupload before. It could be used for legit reasons, just not that oftenBoringSupreez wrote:I've never used Megaupload before. Did it serve any purpose beyond piracy?

Retromags.com is about 99% down because of this. Most of their scanned magazines were hosted on megaupload.
