It had a slow launch, but so did the DS. The 3ds picked up steam alot faster than the DS did though - with titles like OOT leading the way.

Given the growing criticism they are getting for their betrayal of the MML3 project, plus the success the 3DS will soon begin to garner, (mark my words,) I'm almost positive Capcom will renew interest in the game...

I think Shenmue 3 is almost impossible to happen, cause the games cost too much to make, and hardly made any of it back.
