So the real reason I posted this, other than it's Sonic, was to ask if any other video game character has been used to promote big companies.
I guess I should have posed it as a direct question in the OP, but other than cereals, and other food products, what other video game characters have sponsored big companies (i.e. insurance etc)?
Self marketing for the video game brand doesn't count.

I am glad to see a modern day shout out to classic gamers. They know people who were playing games in the early 90's are now mid 20's to early 30's drivers (just like me!). Thumbs up!
