Definitely shoes for me I have a thing for Nike high tops. I just can't help myself sometimes.

Why is there no socks option in the poll? :?

Own? My leather jacket I've had since high school. My parents bought it for me during a spring end of season sale for about $75.

Bought? One of my vintage pairs of combat boots cost me somewhere in the $50-60 range.

No crazy fitted suits or anything here. Footwear vote for me.

^ wow never seen a hoody/jacket go for that much. It must be very high end in terms of thermal wear?

It's not uncommon to spend 100s of dollars for a good ski jacket.

Most of my expensive clothing have been suits and a tuxedo. The tuxedo was something that I bought for my brother's wedding but I also wore it at my own wedding and holiday parties. It paid off by allowing me to skip tux rentals.

Bought a really expensive pair of track spikes back in 2000... $140 or so. They've actually increased in value and become a collector's item since then. I've seen used pairs go for almost $300.

Interesting. Never knew there was a thriving secondary market for shoes. In general, what factors make a shoe appreciate in value?
