Let's be frank, yahoo sucks.
It always did, really but I'm getting more and more annoyed each day. It's annoying, flashy and has fucking ads everywhere. Couple it's crappyness with the increasing amounts of spam my account is getting and I feel it's time to make a brand new one.
Which service can you recommend me? I'm bored of this shit =P

I use Yahoo for most of my non-work related email, and with adblock turned on I see no flash, advertisements, etc. I rarely get spam.General_Norris wrote:Let's be frank, yahoo sucks.

I use gmail on occasion too, but I am not a fan of their "threaded" messaging format.

I use both Hotmail and Gmail. Gmail seems to be the best, although I haven't got any complaints about Hotmail.

Personally, I like the threaded conversation view. It is easy to archive/delete a thread when you're done.dsheinem wrote: I use gmail on occasion too, but I am not a fan of their "threaded" messaging format.
You can turn it off if you dislike it.
Gmail rules. Here are the reasons that I like it:
- Large inbox (around 7GB and growing)
Ability to link multiple gmail accounts
Access to documents, spreadsheets, powerpoint, calendar
excellent search capabilities
Discrete ads, not large flashy, in-your face ads like Yahoo

Gmail as a main account, Live as a secondary and yahoo as an auxiliary for whatever. Use hotmail as a throwaway/spam account.General_Norris wrote:Let's be frank, yahoo sucks.

The key reasoning here is - if it isn't hotmail, it's a good E-mail provider, end of story. Because let's face it, hotmail sucks more than anything that has sucked before it. If Justin Bieber sucks now, justinbieber@hotmail makes him suck even more.

I use gmail but rarely actually go to the web-based site. I use Windows Live Mail (basically Outlook Express) for managing email on PC and obviously the built in mail client on my phone supports gmail as well.

Re: Which email provider is the least [not good]?
I like the old standby, DIRECT EMail via yes good old Outlook. No pop up ads and the best feature COMPLETELY Private. I don't trust an online server to handle my EMail. Direct EMail goes directly to my computer including FULL sized attached photos. Don't get me started on my wife's family's small grainy photos on Facebook. Online EMail does offer an advantage of using any computer to access but the privacy concerns for me is not worth it. I can wait a few hours to get home and check my daily mail. The private connection also prevents junk mail.

I've used gmail exclusively for over 6-7 years now and have multiple accounts. No complaints about it at all.
