If a NSMB game is gonna be a launch title, I'd be interested in picking the console up at launch.

The Wii is doing better than ever for me. Only because I'm finally enjoying it. :P But in the real world it's on its last legs.

I think I will get flamed for this, but in my opinion the Wii is one the worst consoles in History(of the good ones) given its Wii titles only(I love the gc and retro compatibility), now that we are in the end of its life.

There are some fantastic games like Mario Galaxy and Zelda, but for the most part its made of junkware and many 7/10's, not necessarly bad but nothing head turning. I really tried to like this console, but I just cant. When you go to see top Wii games lists, you'll notice half of the list is filled with GC ports like RE4 , and retro games like OoT and other SNES games. What does this tell about the "new" console?

i know of no 1 that bought a Wii and prefered it over his ps3 or 360, as a matter of fact I think most regret it, as they were searching for their Nintendo console that should be on par with GC, SNES, N64, and NES.

I will give it to Nintendo that they provided a fair amount of entertainment for a low price, a console launched with a price of $250 that provided first ever motion controls with something like Wii sports, was pretty exciting at the time.

please dont flame me dor my opinion

I'm not going to flame you - you are entitled to your opinion and I can see where you are coming from, but I have really enjoyed the wii. I've got about 50 or so games and I can think of about another 20 that I want before I'm done collecting stuff for it I think.

Thats not a massive number of games I know, but they include some great games like HMH, Little Kings Story, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Epic MIckey, Metroid 3, Guilty Gear, HOTD Overkill and Zack and Wiki. I've barley started on the First Party games as the price is always so high. There are great games on the system, but you've gotta search through the shovelware to find them.

I'm dissapointed that its dying so quickly as I think there is more life left in it personally, but I think that the Wii-U will prolly be the first console that I preorder and get on launch day. Unless of course the price is too expensive, those controllers are going to cost a fortune.

I have a Wii and a PS3, and I've enjoyed the Wii a LOT more than the PS3. Yes, the Wii has a lot of shovelware. But why let that affect your opinion on the console? That is not a good reason to hate on it.
When you go to see top Wii games lists, you'll notice half of the list is filled with GC ports like RE4 , and retro games like OoT and other SNES games. What does this tell about the "new" console?
That doesn't tell me anything about the console. That just tells me that there are idiots on the internet. There always was, and there always will be.

I think many would agree that RE4 on the Wii is the best port of the game. That would make it worth mentioning, even though it's still a port.

Excluding VC and even ports if you'd like, the Wii has had a LOT of great games. Your main points for thinking it's the worst console ever is that internet "best games lists" don't have games that appeal to you and the console has too much shovelware for it. If there isn't many games on it that appeal to you, that's cool. But to say that's why it's the worst console ever, that's still your opinion, but your opinion is flawed.

Some of my favorites for the Wii have been Super Mario Galaxy, New SMB Wii, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Donkey Kong Country Returns, GoldeneEye, Mario Kart Wii, and Super Paper Mario. All simply amazing games. So many more games I wanna try, not enough time, not enough money!

Looks like Nintendo DS is very close to dead now. The last must have DS game to get is made by atlus for this year.

-Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - $9.99

Not really. I'd wait until E3 when they'll hopefully show off some actual, full games and not just demoes. Plus we don't know much else like price point, 1 or 2 Utablet support, 3rd party support and the like. It clearly has potential, but for now we should just wait.
the only updates i've read so far about Wii U is that EA are allegedly in talks with Nintendo to supply Wii U's online services through Origin, their digital distribution platform. Plus an "anonymous" developer said that Wii U may be adjusted to operate with two touch screen pads instead of one. But take that as rumors until E3 comes this year.
