It needs to happen since the key issue is that most people still have no clue what SOPA is and this is something we can't let slip under our noses.

It was the major story all day on cnn.com yesterday or the day before. I've seen it discussed across the web. More people know about it than you think.

I don't understand why people couldn't just use an alternative DNS server based outside of the country. Would there be some sort of nationwide packet filtering to block DNS requests from leaving the country?
