You can get the first Sengoku, at least, on SNK Arcade Classics, which is one of the best anthologies out there.fvgazi wrote:I want that Sengoku collections but PAL... gosh darn!

Re: ps2 anthologies
I love compilations - especially on the PS2. Here are a few more:
Gradius III & IV
Pop Cap Hits Vol. 1
Pop Cap Hits Vol. 2
Also, there are two versions of Namco Museum: "Namco Museum" and "Namco Museum: 50th Anniversary". They feature different games.
Finally, there are two Pinball Hall of Fame games: "Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection" and "Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection."

I know it's already been said, but Intellivision Lives is quite awesome.

Re: ps2 anthologies
^Namco Museum comes in both the original and the the 50th anniversary editions.
Edit: oops, missed that it's been said, but it should still be included in the list as separate entries.

Re: ps2 anthologies
Just bought the Sonic Mega Collection (granted it is the GC version since it was 3 bucks cheaper).
Gotta say, Sonic Spinball is a lot....slower than I'd thought it would be.

I hate the game. It's not a great Pinball game, and it's not a great platformer. It's a mixture of both, and both aspects of the game suck.Violent By Design wrote:Just bought the Sonic Mega Collection (granted it is the GC version since it was 3 bucks cheaper).

Re: ps2 anthologies
Are we including PS1 games here? The Namco anthologies would count as well as those SquareSoft anthologies. I mean, 2 games each, but still.

Re: ps2 anthologies
I can't let this go. Sonic Spinball is a phenomenal game, and easily in the top 6 or 7 Sonic games ever made. The controls are extremely responsive, the "pinball with boss fights" idea is executed exceptionally well, and the level design and artwork are on par with some of the best in the Sonic series. I don't understand how anyone who remotely likes pinball or 16-bit Sonic games could dislike it.BurningDoom wrote:I hate the game. It's not a great Pinball game, and it's not a great platformer.
