Sega Bass Fishing

Post by myfreestyle_08 »

SEGA Bass Fishing is back and better than ever returning with all-new intuitive controls utilizing the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. With over 20 different types of lures to choose from, gamers can cast off using the Wii Remote to try and land one of four different types of freshwater bass. SEGA Bass Fishing also offers gamers the freedom to select time-of-day and season during play which impacts the activity of the fish, their appetite, and their depth. When players hook a big one, they can use the motion sensor to reel it in! Featuring 15 beautifully designed lake environments, SEGA Bass Fishing has four fun-filled game modes including Arcade, Tournament, Practice and Nature Trip modes.

Being a huge Dreamcast fan, I love it that one of the niche hits is back. Still nothing can compare to using the fishing rod controller!

This sure sounds like a sales pitch to me. I have to sift through enough ads on the internet, I don't need them in my forums.

YAY! The other day a friend and I were having a Dreamcast and Wii day. After a few games of Sega Bass fishing we started a conversation about how cool a new one would be on the Wii. Excited :D

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Yeah, has Sega lost so much money that they send people to cut and paste advertising into forums?

That would be an all new low.

As far as Sega Bass Fishing goes though I find it to be a very good game and one of the best fishing simulations I've played.

Nothing will compare to the original for me. I don't think there will ever be a controller as innovative as the original fishing rod. The official Sega Fishing rod is awesome. I love playing Sega Bass Fishing and Marine Fishing on my Dreamcast.

Also, for owners of the fishing controller or the fission controller, try playing crazy taxi with it. It's awesome fun with friends.

I finally got a fishing controller for my DC, but have yet to use it. I do really enjoy the first Sega Bass fishing and the Marine Fishing game. My wife actually likes to watch me play the bass fishing. I do. however, hate the second version of the bass fishing. Maybe it is too realistic for my taste.
