What CONS are you going to this year?

I'd gone to DragonCon every year for a few years until last year (got married in September so it wasn't really a possibility), was hoping I'd get to go again this year but I doubt we'll be able to so we're gonna aim for Pax west...though I'm not sure when badges go on sale

Which tracks panels do you go to when you go?

A bit of a hodgepodge... I generally don't go to the larger panels due to hating the multi-hour lines for them, unless they're Babylon 5 or Futurama panels. I like going to the little theoretical debate ones for things like economics in sci-fi occasionally, but it's usually just a random mix of what I like and my friends like.

I also spend probably 10 hours wandering around the dealers halls every time I go for the entire weekend. Also, autographs, of course! I've got a S3 Babylon 5 booklet with all of the surviving main cast's autographs, it took a few years (and about 180 dollars) but it was worth it

I am planning on going on more since I am pretty much writing a book on it.

Did you go to the Futurama Fan Panel from three years ago, or the Cast Panel two years ago? The Fan Panel was the last panel of the con, the Cast Panel was in one of the big rooms.

I went to the cast panel. If you remember a big guy with a beard (and I think I had a mohawk at the time) shouting "I LOVE YOU JOHN!" when Dimaggio walked into the room, that was me. He also referenced my Panucci's Pizza t-shirt in the panel because he'd never seen one before.

When he said he wasn't sure who had it, I pointed at myself and Phil Lamarr chimed in with "I think it's your girlfriend with the beard over there." or something to that effect.

I may attend some other anime cons like FanimeCon in San Jose but I'm trying to save up money for my trip to Japan

I was considering PAX East but can't get time off at work
