You must play Rhythm Heaven then. They aren't quite in the same genre, but it's a blast no doubt. Unless you dislike rhyhtm games in general. If you didn't know, the first one is on DS and it's dirt cheap now. Lest you face my fury.BoringSupreez wrote: Actually, I have no idea what Rhythm Heaven is. I'll probably get both, since they're good and cheap. That's my favorite attribute combo.Pichu wrote:You must play Rhythm Heaven then. They aren't quite in the same genre, but it's a blast no doubt. Re: How is the Wii doing?
I'm a mega Rhythm Tengoku (yeah, I went there) and Warioware (same development teams) fan, but I have to agree that Fever likely won't "matter" much in terms of sales volume or press buzz. The budget price confirms Nintendo's realistic expectations. That said, I've had it preordered for weeks. Speaking of quirky, does anyone think Kiki Trick has a chance of being localized? The latest Nintendo webcast has a longish, live demo of Iwata playing it. He makes a guy fart in the game... 'nuff said.
Re: How is the Wii doing?
I bought Minna no Rhythm Tengoku (Everyone's Rhythm Heaven) when it first came out and it is fantastic. One of my favorite Wii games.
Kiki Trick looks really interesting to me, but I don't like the idea of paying $70 for it. I will probably wait months or years and get it for cheap.

What are some fun Wii hidden gems that aren't listed in the Wii section. There's so many titles for that system when walking into Gamestop. I wish I knew what to look for!

The Wii's been dead-ish for the better part of a year, but it got to the 90m units sold and it's still slowly ticking toward the 100m sales mark. The DS has surpassed, or is about to, the PS2 as the best-selling console of all time. My labored point being: Nintendo, for all the flack the 3DS brought, still hit some quite impressive high-notes in 2011.

Damn, 90 million units? Really?! I never would have guessed it. That's pretty impressive.Balasubbie wrote:The Wii's been dead-ish for the better part of a year, but it got to the 90m units sold and it's still slowly ticking toward the 100m sales mark. I would say the Wii is far from dead. Super Mario Galaxy 2, Epic Mickey, and Donkey Kong Country are still out of my immediate price-range because they're still quite sought after. And The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is one of the biggest games out right now.

Re: How is the Wii doing?
With the Wii 2/Wii U coming out, is it worth pursuing the new system? Anyone heard anything good about it so far?
Re: How is the Wii doing?
Not really. I'd wait until E3 when they'll hopefully show off some actual, full games and not just demoes. Plus we don't know much else like price point, 1 or 2 Utablet support, 3rd party support and the like. It clearly has potential, but for now we should just wait. The Nihilist wrote:With the Wii 2/Wii U coming out, is it worth pursuing the new system? Anyone heard anything good about it so far?
