And wall jump like a boss. Seriously, 90% of the time in a boss fight that only takes up one screen I'm on a wall. As you could guess, Gaea armor was a dream come true in X5. As for the order, start with Magma Dragoon. You can use the mech against him and beat him weaponless easily.Flake wrote: Ultimate Armor reduces the difficulty by a whole lot but it also lets you learn how to play the game. The secret to any X game is to learn the enemy patterns.

*series, and you did
I found it in X1, and that's back when the dashing wall jump was about as fun to pull off as any wall jump in Super Metroid.

Shit yeah. Megaman X1 lived in my SNES for about 4 months straight. I got to the point where I could get through some levels only touching the ground ten or fifteen times. Launch Octopus was a great level for minimal ground contact runs.GameMasterGuy wrote:*series, and you did

One of my favorite bosses is in Mega Man X5 which is the Shadow Devil (Rock Monster or Yellow Devil) in that game. I may be tempted to summon that game again >< I miss it dearly.

yup. If you know the weaknesses, you can do the boss rush without getting hit once.Flake wrote:Listen to Noise. A couple months ago he was in the same boat. And now he is a veteran of the Repliforce War.noiseredux wrote:the bosses are the easiest thing about X4.
Re: MegaMan X4 is handing my ASS to me
Every single boss is weak to one thing: Zero's jump spin attack.
So hilariously overpowered.
